Article Processing Charges (APC) Policy

Viterra: Agricultural, Biological and Natural Sciences does not charge Article Processing Charges (APCs) and does not impose any fees for manuscript submission, editorial assessment, peer review, copyediting, publication, access, consultation, or digital preservation of its scientific content.

The journal operates under a non-profit Open Access model whose sole purpose is to promote the dissemination, preservation, and advancement of scientific knowledge in the fields of agricultural sciences, biological sciences, and natural sciences. This model guarantees equal opportunities for authors and institutions, without discrimination based on geographical location, institutional affiliation, or financial capacity.

The journal's editorial, technical, and administrative management is carried out by Diginova S.A.S., which serves as the publishing institution and is responsible for the journal's operational, technological, and editorial infrastructure. Under no circumstances does the involvement of the publisher imply charges to authors or readers, nor does it influence the academic or editorial decisions made by the journal.

All decisions regarding manuscript evaluation, peer review, acceptance, or rejection are made independently and autonomously, based exclusively on academic, scientific, and ethical criteria, in accordance with the journal's editorial policies and internationally recognised principles of best practices in scholarly publishing.
